Just as important, the betting bank should be sufficient to get the backer through those times when the going gets particuarly tough. Here it generally pays to budget for the worst possible scenario.
4. The ability to learn from past mistakes and to modify betting procedures with a view to eliminating them in the future. In this a complete recored of all bets struck is a most valuable aid. Such a record will help t establish which parts of a betting operation are suspect or not working. It will also eradicate the gambler's trap of a dream world where a few wins are thought to compensate for may conveniently forgotten losses, thus masking a sustantial deficet in the long term.
